Pro Gam3r Magazine's fighting specialist, Patrick Mifflin has been playing fighting games since Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, and competing in tournaments since Champion Edition. After a stint as Executive Editor of GameAddicts Network, Patrick returned to tournament play, making great efforts to restart his local Street Fighter scene in Utah. This culminated with an APEX divisional title, as Patrick was the top-ranked Tekken 5 player in the Pacific North Division as of Evolution 2005. Apart from his primary job at Pro Gam3r, Patrick was also a staff writer for Gamer 2.0 from January 2005 to May 2008. His current competitive focus is on Virtua Fighter 5 and Super Street Fighter II Turbo (in anticipation for HD Remix). The 2D Fighting community knows him better as DarkCatalyst.
